- Boardwalk Flight, a 110-foot free-fall ride that propels riders over the boardwalk at speeds reaching up to 60 miles per hour and gives them the sensation of sky-diving
- Coney Island Raceway, a new 24-cart Go-Kart track, which allows riders to drive on 900 feet of track that features switchback and hairpin curves, creating an authentic racing experience

NYCEDC is making waves in New York City with the Waterfront Vision and Enhancement Strategy (WAVES), a citywide strategy launched by Mayor Bloomberg and Speaker Quinn that lays out a sustainable blueprint for the City’s more than 500 miles of shoreline. Download the New York City Waterfront Action Agenda Progress Report for detailed information on the projects and improvements that are going on in the City.
New York City — which accounts for 44 percent of the state’s workforce — has added more jobs since the recession than it lost during the downturn, adding 181,000 jobs in the last two years. The increase is almost 41,000 more jobs than were lost in the city during the recession, according to the report.
