Entrepreneur at Large at NYCEDC

Are you an entrepreneur who is passionate about growing and supporting NYC’s media & tech entrepreneurial community? Do you believe NYC is the best place to start a business? And are you excited to help ensure that NYC remains a top center for global innovation? If so, apply for our new Entrepreneur at Large program.

The new Entrepreneur at Large will serve as NYCEDC’s eyes and ears within the NYC entrepreneurial community. We are seeking an individual who can provide additional thought partnership and industry expertise to support NYCEDC initiatives, regularly engage with the broader entrepreneurial community on behalf of NYCEDC, and help increase awareness of our entrepreneurial initiatives. Over the past year and a half, NYCEDC has helped create a vibrant ecosystem to develop entrepreneurs across industries. We’re now looking for someone from NYC’s tech and entrepreneurship community to provide in-house validation and feedback on existing programs and suggest new ideas.

The application process will be competitive. We have some great leaders in NYC’s startup community who will serve on the selection committee for the position: Brad Hargreaves, Founding Partner at General Assembly; Dawn Barber, Co-founder of NY Tech Meetup; David Tisch, Managing Director at TechStars NYC; David S. Rose, Chairman of New York Angels; Charlie O’Donnell, Principal at First Round Capital; and Steven Strauss, Managing Director at NYCEDC.
