For businesses displaced by Hurricane Sandy, NYCEDC has identified private commercial space that will be generously offered for free as short-term “swing” office space. One of these locations is 40,000 square feet at the Brooklyn Army Terminal, an iconic and historic building in Sunset Park. For a more thorough look at the history and modern adaptation of this unique facility, check out this short video shot by “On the Real”, a real-estate blog dedicated to exploring the city’s most dynamic spaces.

Discover more free resources for impacted businesses at NYCEDC.com/donations, where you can find out more about working out of the Brooklyn Army Terminal.

If your company is able to provide resources such as space, supplies, services, or other forms of assistance to New York City businesses that have been significantly impacted by Hurricane Sandy, go to NYCEDC.com/canyourcompanyhelp.
