This week at NYCEDC: We kicked off New York Fashion Week with a look at the economic impact this semi-annual week has on NYC We got caught in the rain with a view of a New York City street in a downpour We continued to ensure that the largest food hub in the Western Hemisphere remains in NYC with the announcement from Mayor Bloomberg and Governor Cuomo of $25 million in federal funding for Hunts Point Produce Market From apps to apparel, we announced the 11 winners of the Project Pop-Up NYC competition for emerging fashion and technology entrepreneurs We kept up the search for the top infographic designers in our NYC Best for Business Infographic Design Competition We congratulated BAM on the opening of its newest building, BAM Fisher, the first LEED Gold-certified theater in Brooklyn We are taking student business ideas to the next level and accepting applications for the 2012-2013 NYC Next Idea Competition Have a great weekend, NYC!
