This week at NYCEDC:
We stopped by Essex Street Market to take a bite out of the new signs and check out the delectables inside
We strolled around an incredibly detailed LEGO replica of Brooklyn
We’re getting ready to parse through NYC data with civic hackers at the upcoming NYC Government DataDive
We reached out to the community with an RFP for the NYC BigApps Competition
We opened applications for the “Beta Class” of computer science students at Cornell NYC Tech
We heard Greg David discuss the growing economy here in NYC
We made USA Today’s Top 10 list of cities for technology start-ups
We eagerly read the 2012 Digital Roadmap outlining NYC’s digital successes and a look ahead to new initiatives
We tweeted that a Small Business Digital Toolkit will now be available to NYC small businesses
We topped Architect Newspaper’s list of Agencies of Change, whose projects have had the most impact on development in New York City
We got in a few rounds of tennis with StatsBee, who looked at the 2012 US Open and the number of tennis courts in NYC
Have a great weekend, NYC!
