A new landing at Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 1 recently opened as another embarking/disembarking option. Locally-produced concessions are available on all the boats and are a favorite among passengers. Serving both commuters and sightseers alike, the East River Ferry has proven to be a valuable part of the New York City transportation network.
