This week on NYCEDC: We duked it out against Boston and took a look at the age-old rivalry between Beantown and Gotham We introduced the New Energy Symposium for cleantech innovators, which will be held here in NYC We launched NYC Generation Tech for the next generation of NYC high school “techpreneurs” We inspired tech companies in Washington, D.C. to pursue the dynamic startup and tech education culture we have in NYC We Demystified Industrial Development with a panel of savvy industrial business owners discussing the retention and expansion of the industry We showed you the NYC Generation Tech program breakdown for high school student participants We connected to free public Wi-Fi spots at payphone kiosks around the City We enjoyed fresh produce from rooftop farms and looked at the rise of urban agriculture in NYC We kicked off the 34th Annual Seaside Summer Concert Series at Coney Island with a Disco Night tribute and more shows to come We re-introduced you to Pat, the tunnel-boring machine with an animation of how it will dig a water tunnel between Staten Island and Brooklyn Have a great weekend, NYC!
