That’s So New York: NYC BigApps 3.0 Competition Awards
The City’s third annual BigApps competition, NYC BigApps 3.0, showcases mobile applications that utilize open data provided by the City. Software developers won $50,000 in cash prizes for designing apps that help New Yorkers apartment hunt, plan a day of leisure, or search for top-grade schools for their kids. Applications that increase public access to real-time civic information, and in turn make living in the Big Apple easier.
